Solid Cherry Self-Rising Boat Table Base – Two Height Settings
Upgrade your boat table with our handmade self-rising solid cherry pedestal base, designed to quickly switch between two different table heights without removing or replacing the pedestal.
The simple spring-assisted lift system is operated with a locking pin. Pull the pin and the pedestal automatically rises to its upper position. Once fully raised, simply reinsert the pin to securely lock it at the higher setting. To lower the table, remove the pin, push the pedestal back down, and lock it into the lower position.
This listing is for the self-rising base only, allowing you to use your own tabletop or pair it with one of our custom boat tables.

The standard base provides a full 10” of height adjustment, making it easy to switch between a lower lounge-style table and a taller table when needed.
Because these bases are handmade, we can also customize the overall heights and lifting capacity for your particular tabletop or boat setup.

This is the second time I've ordered this. The first time, I gave it 4 stars because it came powdery and didn't seem oiled. I oiled it and it turned way darker. This time the finish seemed perfect. I did re-oil it and there was no color change, and it wasn't powdery when I received it. The finish seemed much better this time. The first one was given to a couple in Scotland for hosting us. This new one will travel with me to Nepal for a wedding gift. I think they'll love this beautiful piece as much as our Scotish friends did.
